For the actual certification, TESTS MUST BE SENT TO A THIRD BODY WHICH VERIFIES AND CONFIRMS THE PARAMETERS AND RESULTS, THE PROCEDURE IS EXPENSIVE AND COMPLEX, SO MANY ITALIAN COMPANIES HAVE ONLY TESTED PRODUCTS, sold unduly as CERTIFICATES. THE CERTIFICATION PROVIDES FOR 1 TO 2 ANNUAL CHECKS (CALLED "AUDIT") ON PRODUCTION, IN ORDER TO GUARANTEE OVER THE YEARS THAT THE FINISHED PRODUCT REFLECTS THE SAME CHARACTERISTICS OF THE SAMPLE TESTED AS ORIGINALLY
